RUSSELL REDWOOD

Russell served his apprenticeship from a very early age through school and art college to qualify as a technical illustrator.

He spent the first ten years of his working life as a professional illustrator/artist, using a variety of media but preferring to specialize in pen & ink, airbrush and gouache brush work. Opportunities then steered him away from continuing with it professionally but the artist in him didnÕt stop!

He carried on, very seriously, primarily catering for his other passion Ð motoring. For quite a few years now he has offered a commission service aimed at the fellow motoring enthusiast, offering anything from a small pen & ink to a much larger painting, occasionally interrupted along the way with a less motoring-focused request as well.

While specializing in gouache and ink he has also ventured into using acrylic, watercolour, pastel and pencil Ð although yet to use oils to the degree that he would call himself proficient Ð this is his next challenge he has set himself.

Over the years he has exhibited and demonstrated his art from local to national level. He will gladly undertake commissions and can be contacted via email and through his website.
