JOHN DUMBAR

John started painting motor racing cars 25 years ago after 2 seasons of modsport racing.

He also paints landscapes and always exhibits at the annual exhibition of the Scottish Society of Architect Artists. All paintings are oil paintings.

John's own personal thoughts are that oils convey the feeling of speed in being able to drag the paint when it's still wet.

Paintings from the 1960's have featured in many of these scenes.
