JEFF NORTON

Jeff Norton has been a motor racing enthusiast since family visits to the blustery Rufforth airfield circuit in the late 60's where he was captivated by the sight of Tony Deans' Ferrari 206 Dino. Hitch hiking to the Oulton Park Gold Cup hooked him for life!

He trained in Business Studies & Graphic Design in the 70's. Hobbies include model car racing where Jeff has won concours prizes for the best painted body shells and competing in hillclimbs & sprints in a borrowed Formula Ford.

As an outlet for his artistic leanings he started to paint racing cars. Early commissions came from the hillclimb and sprint fraternity including Mike Pilbeam, who allowed Jeff to exhibit on his stand at the Racing Car Show. Paintings have been purchased by the Arrows F1 Team and Marcos.

In 1999 he became a Companion of the International Guild of Artists.A painting was judged ÔBest in HallÕ, for which Jeff received a trophy larger than he ever won at racing! Jeff is happy to produce affordably priced originals with no obligation.
