David is married with a young family and lives in Olney, Bucks. At school he obtained 'A' level art grade a with distinction. David has produced well over five hundred paintings of cars mostly in gouache and watercolours. He specialises in car portraits, mostly MG's, Jaguars, Porsches and post 1950 classic cars and has gained many commissions from Owners Clubs and has sold commissions in the USA, France and Japan.
David has successfully exhibited at the Auction of Automobilia New Jersey, Donington, Auto Art Lime Rock Exhibition and Hershey Auction, plus the Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre.
His published work includes a front cover for a Christies' international historic festival programme, poster and teeshirt artwork for Porsche GB, Austin Healey prints and calendars and local car show posters.
He was a runner up in the 2000 Grand Prix Sportique motoring art competition. Hobbies include DIY, picture framing, photography - and motoring!
