CLIVE NORTON

I started work at 15 years of age in a London art studio with the ambition of becoming a commercial artist. That lasted over 30 years, giving me plenty of time to experience many aspects of advertising art, mostly as a freelancer.

I find it difficult to say I'm self taught as I had lots of guidance from very experienced working artists of the day.

I've always had a passion for special cars and bikes since childhood and eventually found myself working for some of those now defunct marques.

Only several years ago did I finally turn my back on that ever changing business and began concentrating on doing what I like best, painting ... but with wider brushes, thick paint and direct on to canvas.

I love to take on new challenges with any assignment and always have a good selection of limited edition prints for sale.
